Does Not go far on one batttery charge

I bought this bike because it Said on the ad QUOTE: "bike is fast and powerful--tons of torque! Easily hit 20+ mph and tear up hills with a range of 23-30 miles (in pedal-assist mode)" I never can get even 23 miles per charge. Even if I pedal hard the whole time I only get 12--14 miles. If I don't pedal at all and go just 13 mph I only get 7 MILES out of one charge. I weigh 190 lbs. and this bike will not take me up any big or steep hills, it just gets really slow and then it dies right on the hill. My neighbor has a Bike with a BYI Deep Cycle batttery and that thing will go about 45 miles on one charge. For $2200 they need to give people a much better battery than this. I am still trying to return this bike.
