1. Electrokinetic cell battery ( Li, lead-acid, NiMH battery etc.) featured in nominal voltage 48V, nominal capacity not less than 17Ah is compatible with the motor.

Hub motor has defects. Would NOT recommend.

This is the kit that got me into electric bikes.At this point I've replaced everything with other components that I've bought over the months, but the included brakes and hub motor. The included charger is useful for certain things too, although I wouldn't use it to charge lithium-ion batteries since its output voltage and overall quality is questionable (not to mention I don't think it's designed with Li-Ion batteries in mind).What really brings my rating down is the hub motor, one of the most essential parts to an electric bike.It came as it is shown in the picture, but once I had everything mounted (and to this day) I see a wobble between the sprocket and the hub. Something with the hub isn't aligned correctly, and I guess this is what I get for purchasing one of these generic kits.What I mentioned isn't the real problem though, but it may be the cause of it.After about 3 or so miles of riding (sometimes less, depending on how hard I go on the motor), the motor starts producing this rubbing sound as if something inside is making contact with something it shouldn't be. Continuing to ride like this results in a louder sound and each time the hub rubs on the inside against whatever is going on, it creates an increasing amount of resistance on the wheel.What this all essentially does is make long commutes (anything more than a few miles) difficult if they're uphill or you're pushing a lot of current into the motor. I have to stop to let the motor cool down (as this gets rid of the problem, only for a few minutes though).The reasons why I chose to go with a kit was because I wasn't sure what parts were required for an electric bike and because purchasing from Amazon is easy for me. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone though, unless of course I got a bad hub motor. It's probably too late to return it now and shipping it back would cost a lot.

Good deal

Considering everything that it comes with, it is a very good deal. The motor works great and is pushing me about 27.5 mph. The additional parts that come with (bag, rack, etc) seem to be of good quality. I haven't been using it long, but so far so good.
